yeah. the mormons run a company called BAM which is a legos franchiser. They did a hostile takeover of one of their franchisees that was in possession of a consignment worth about $200k.
The consignment went missing the night of the hostile takeover.
A hostile take over means they go into the store without warning, kick out the owners, and change the locks.
This YouTuber heard about the story and went to investigate. The whole town was run by Mormons and the police harassed them, swatted their Airbnb, arrested them multiple times, etc. The body cam footage came out and contains gems like "What are we charging them with? Nothing we are just going to scare them."
The YouTubers video is amazing. Its the best expose since The Thin Blue Line (10/10 film if you haven't seen it).
And thats basically it. The mormons are suing everyone. Apparently its a Rico charge.
