@nprofile1q... The actual reality is that those options provide dramatically worse privacy and security than an iPhone. Apple does a genuinely great job making a highly secure device, providing a high level of privacy from third party apps/services and even increasingly providing a high level of privacy from themselves for people who want it. An iPhone with Advanced Data Protection enabled for iCloud and the few sync features not supporting it avoided is a great privacy option for most people.
