In 97 I lived in Sardegna, Italy, right on the Mediterranean Sea. Some friends from Cali were visiting & went down to the shore to gather some sea urchins for dinner. As I placed my knife against a sea urchin, & watched the spines 'tingle' back & forth, I dropped the knife & said "that's it. If I cannot kill this, then I will never again ask someone to kill something for me."
