In 97 I lived in Sardegna, Italy, right on the Mediterranean Sea. Some friends from Cali were visiting & went down to the shore to gather some sea urchins for dinner. As I placed my knife against a sea urchin, & watched the spines 'tingle' back & forth, I dropped the knife & said "that's it. If I cannot kill this, then I will never again ask someone to kill something for me."

🤔 So if this is a Mastodon thing, Would that mean everyone on my instance is experiencing these rate limiters when they happen? Because they now happen to me all the time. (They are popping up right now as i am I'm typing this) And only on certain browsers

so why do I only experience this on Brave and now Vivaldi? I revert to Firefox when it happens because it doesn't appear to happen with that browser. How is that possible?

a couple weeks ago i publicly switched from Brave to Vivaldi bc i learned Brave's ceo/co-founder is maga, & this👇constant "Rate limited" nonsense

this has become constant now on Vivaldi. when i try to post, i get this. if i refresh, i lose the post. i am back on Firefox to write this

we cannot accept that narrative. it is not only bribery, but brazen bribery, and bribery is still illegal

we just need honest, competent judges on the bench who will call a bribe a bribe

@nprofile1q... me, too. except in California, the law remained that gas station air & water pumps be free (i left in '20) but a couple yrs ago i was there & saw they charged

i inquired. their workaround (& i promise some consultant came up w/ this) was to rent the piece of land where the pump is to another company. & since that company is not a gas station, they can charge for air & water. & the station doesn't "have" an air & water pump to provide, but gets the rent
