Money laundering and money anonymization are impossible to prevent. If authorities can't catch someone based on the evidence and witnesses from the crime itself, then police should just give up. They already lost; any attempts to catch a criminal after that point are just wishful thinking. The biggest problem isn't money laundering happens; the biggest problem is that money anonymization has such a high barrier to entry that only criminals can pull it off, and that's not fair.
