My prayers for all those who just wanted to live a peaceful life. The ayatollas are no different than any other tyrants, although maybe they wear different clothes or use differrnt words.
At some point, all governments who rule their people too long and grow too big, feel they own their tax slaves/citizens.
Having looked into how Iran has been pillaged and abused by those who claim to lead her, is painful to see. The selfish decisions in agriculture, the intolerance of different styles of dress or thinking, the lack of redress for honest grievences... We see these decisions in the western world and the USA, just on a lesser scale.
Not a big fan of taxation/legalized theft, but I would rather my stolen funds go to help provide food and water relief, experts in restoration agriculture/permaculture, and education towards self sufficiency to the people of Iran or other countries...than to ever support big ag, big pharma, or big war here in the USA.
Opting out of the current system is the only logical and moral decision I see at this time. Building communities and allowing others the chance to do the same.
