Actually it makes me really happy to be the person my parents turn to when they need someone to tell them that their wants & needs matter.
I do get the sense that's why they sometimes mention certain...
Texted my mom back "ooh"-ing & "ah"-ing over the nice amenities. "Oh, that sounds like it would work so well for you!" "That's such a nice, spacious kitchen!"
It looks pretty great for them.
I'm a bit annoyed at my brother & his wife that when my parents asked them to come view the house, their big concern was about themselves & their kids & not what my parents need! They wanted another trusted opinion. Mom & Dad weren't asking "is this good for you?" they were asking "is it good for us?"
