I don't think printing is going to fix anything this time. The can has been kicked all the way to the reserve currency/asset of the world. The next step is ruin either via hyperinflation (Weimar style) or complete destruction of the current financial system (end of Rome style).

And unfortunately, this will be realized through economic games running into physical constraints: food, energy, medicine. We are there now.

Yeah, people who move over to hard assets will be ok. The rest of the world will be forced into adoption.
