Well, as a general rule, if two sides can't even agree on the preconditions of a negotiation, you are not very close to peace.
But again, I been reading for a WIDE VARIETY of sources and the problem is us. Our demands are unreasonable at this stage. Now maybe later on the problem will be Iran - for example I can't EVER see the US agreeing to their demand that "Yankee leave the MENA entirely."
But right now? We're the ones saying "give us what we couldn't win on the battlefield or no deal."
