I do. I use Excel to track words written, blogged, read (my own work), and edited. I track every day, and even have a column for which activity I'm working on (drafting, editing, etc.)
Writing is my full-time job, so I track these things to hold myself accountable. It also helps me find rhythms, and project when my WIP(s) will be complete.
It is, perhaps, the only type A thing about my writing career.
