Take music for an example...
Most already have access to a phone or computer that is just as capable (or even more-so) as a multimillion $ studio 20 years ago. Gatekeepers aren't necessary for distribution. Even the cheap mass-produced toy instruments can sound fantastic.
Everyone has the potential of playing an instrument and writing music. It's just a matter of effort. There are exactly zero excuses.
