rent isn't compelled, its mutually agreed & contracted. a landlord can evict you & presumably you could live somewhere public or undeveloped.

landlords don't coordinate with employers to take rent from wages. neither do they
demand a percentage of your sales, or profits from investments.

landlords are a part of reality. so are bureaucrats.

we can always save up enough to buy a house from some landlord.
