I think this may go deeper than it appears - I read an article a few months back regarding trump's pouring dollars into Argentina - if my memory serves correctly, Thiel sent someone in to negotiate the deal with milieu on trump's behalf...now, Thiel mysteriously decides to move there, using concerns about america and taxes as cover.

Unfortunately, I can't recall what the author concluded these actions were intended for - maybe we're about to see?
