If they are leaving, which they will always do if tax laws don't favour them, then why appease them to stay - leaving is their main weapon against taxes.

They should join 'Millionaires with Conscience', as being publicised by Brian Eno who states he's more than happy to pay tax at a higher rate than the present rates.

I think this may go deeper than it appears - I read an article a few months back regarding trump's pouring dollars into Argentina - if my memory serves correctly, Thiel sent someone in to negotiate the deal with milieu on trump's behalf...now, Thiel mysteriously decides to move there, using concerns about america and taxes as cover.

Unfortunately, I can't recall what the author concluded these actions were intended for - maybe we're about to see?
