I've said it before, every note should have the zap icon. If it's set by the user they receive the zaps, if not the developer receives them.

That would be the developer of the client who's doing the zapping rather than the developer of the client being zapped.

I don't mind this by the way, there's just no way to tell which client the note was published from.

Yeah that's what I meant by zapping the developer of the client who's doing the zapping. Presumably they're zapping from the client that they read the note on. Elsirion does raise a valid point in that it could cause some undesirable incentives to occur. I personally like things to be transparent....
