UTreexo motivates sub-optimal practices for a Bitcoin user. It just creates a new way for someone to outsource full node responsibilities from someone else.

UTreexo follows the same motivating principles as pruned nodes, that increase reliance on other people running full nodes.

It also doesn’t mitigate Spam, it only makes people think Spam isn’t an issue, when it obviously is.
