Ok, so let’s talk about my eating routine.
Generally speaking, I love cooking and eating.
I know there are people out there — I even have some friends like this — who basically just eat so they don’t starve. They don’t care that much about a good meal. They don’t really build their day around food. Sometimes they even “forget” to eat.
Sometimes I wish I were a bit more like that 😅
Because I really love eating.
One of the first things I do in the morning at work is check the menu at the canteen.
I love weekend breakfasts on the terrace with my girlfriend.
I love trying and cooking new things.
I love snacking on chips while reading.
I love snacks while watching a movie.
And going to the cinema without popcorn feels pointless.
I often look forward to the last meal of the day.
So yeah — it’s not that I’m addicted to food. I just really enjoy eating, and I love social gatherings that involve food.
And a lot of the time, I don’t even need something new every day. I can eat my current favorite meal multiple days in a row.
I’m not that picky.
There are a few things I don’t like, but there are a loooot of things I do like 😁
So you can imagine that it’s very easy for me to get off track.
But there’s another side to me:
When I’m focused and have a goal, I can be very stubborn.
So when I’m dieting, I just do it.
In those phases, I don’t actually feel like dieting is ultra hard.
The hard part comes after I reach my goal.
So let’s see how it goes this time.
In the past, the best method for me was calorie counting.
Not estimating — really weighing everything I ate.
A few months ago, before I decided to get fit again, I tried to lose fat just by eating “cleaner.”
No strict rules.
No calorie counting.
Just generally trying to eat healthier.
It didn’t work 🙈
I really need a goal.
So when I decided to get fit again a few weeks ago, my strategy became:
AI 😁
Yes — just like with my training plan, I put everything into AI and eat what it suggests.
The good thing is:
If it suggests something I don’t like, I ask for something else.
If it gets too repetitive, I ask for something else.
If I know I’ll be out with friends and eating pizza, I tell the AI in advance — and it adjusts my food and training plan accordingly.
So yeah, a lot of what I’m doing right now is AI-based.
But I have to say: it’s actually quite fun, and I like the results so far.
What do you think?
Does anyone here use AI for a food diary or meal planning?
Tomorrow I’ll post a weight update!
Thanks for sticking around — and keep stacking sats.
