Yesterday afternoon around block height 961215, I became a father. After a very unexpected turn of events a simple layed back day turned into one of the most terrifying days I have yet to experience.

When we reached 38 weeks, on the day where they no longer classify the baby as premature, I had a seizure. Hubby got the full emotional horror of that day, while I have about 5 kinda loopy happy memories, just enough to know what was happening.
Going in the car, hearing a doctor say they would induce, and then hearing they'd do an emergency c-section, and then being rolled into the room afterwards. At some point I also kept telling them "no eye goo!" Until they acknowledged what I was saying. (It's some STD anti gonorrhea goo they put on all babies in the USA unless told not to!)
