Hey, so help me understand, I get a VPS with a dedicated ip. Then you have a Tailscale type of thing so I can connect to my home server? Or do you host the server and the data?

Any VPS has a dedicated IP address. You can install headscale on the VPS or Tailscale etc. and connect the VPS to your homenetwork or route the public IP from the VPS to your homenetwork. There are many ways.
At the moment we don't offer storage VPS with 4TB, but it is on our roadmap.
