I’ve been thinking a lot about the four turnings theory. If the collapse of Rome looked similar to the collapse of the Roman Catholic Church which looks similar to the collapse of the American empire, then how long until the next empire repeats the same degeneracy and evil? If the patterns are just cyclical, and can’t be prevented, then the problem is in the systems that human naturally gravitate toward building. Systems of authority. Centralizing power in few hands. A pedophile in society causes harm but eventually gets punished. A pedophile in office causes catastrophes at an unimaginably large scale. Without government, the pedos are easier to stop.
