Apparently my gut has microbes that interact with the carnitine in beef to produce TMA which is a precursor to TMAO, which has undesirable metabolic and cardiovascular consequences.

Gut microbiome can change in a matter of weeks with diets and other factors. Wonder what nuance was included with those results.

That seems serious, I guess it's good that you caught a bug before it became a serious vulnerability.
