Anyway, thank goodness for Dark Reader and similar!
It may not be perfect, but it is certainly a better overall baseline for me than not using it, and being jump-dazzled.
@nprofile1q... I tried using Dark Reader to put a web site that has only the horrible eyestrain-inducing dark mode into relaxing, easy-to-read light mode, but I couldn't make it work, so I gave up and uninstalled it.
