One thing I always tell my kids is that being popular or well liked is relatively simple.
People like people who like them.
People who are well liked are people who genuinely like other people.

Been thinking just this recently. Trying to make myself more accepting and less binary/ judgmental in how I view others, cuz people can sense I'm a bit of a judgey jerk :/
