Vince Lanci, a trader on twitter, has a thesis that we're headed into an age of mercantilism.
My (shallow) understanding of mercantilism is that all aspects of the economy are subordinated to increasing state power, esp competing with other states.
It seems like a good framework for understanding stablecoins, and a lot of Trump's other actions as well.
