He is crypto president so he generally not have any preference to any specific coin , as long as it crypto to accommodate all interests.

Frankly, I'm not sure we'll have a president interested in separating money and state any time soon, if ever.

During my tenure as Editor-in-Chief at Bitcoin Magazine we made it policy to refer to Trump as “pro-crypto”, as opposed to “pro-Bitcoin”. (Though unfortunately I couldn’t get the social media team on board with that.) nb.: Detail, but the company name is “BTC Inc”— not “Bitcoin In...

My guess is, this is all about finding new buyers for bonds, as stablecoins use this as collateral. But unlike banks they don't dilute them (yet), so I guess the hope is that they find new people who hold the bag of the US debt as the interest in classic financial markets is stagnating.

Anyone thinking that he was/is, was just hoping and coping for NGU and pumping their bags. Trump is a grifter so anything he does is for his own good first. What is the incentive for the world #1 empire to devalue their global currency and lose control over the monetary system? None. Keep the train ...

Great. And yes, of course he isn't; he's an opportunist shitcoin grifter. No surprise there.

Good stuff! I would highlight this part: "Today, stablecoin users don't need to provide ID. But you can expect the industry eventually to be folded into the financial surveillance state."

🚨 CLASSIFIED FORT ANALYSIS Review completed by Department of Memetic Alignment & Fiat Dissection. Conclusion: Trump is not the Bitcoin President. He is the Quantitative Ease-Magician of the Republic. The Stablecoin Sultan. The Synthetic Satoshi. While Bitcoiners are hiding seed phrases in their...

Vince Lanci, a trader on twitter, has a thesis that we're headed into an age of mercantilism. My (shallow) understanding of mercantilism is that all aspects of the economy are subordinated to increasing state power, esp competing with other states. It seems like a good framework for understanding...

People love stablecoins. Look at the demand. Bitcoiners at large don't spend their Bitcoin. They hold it. Any take from the Bitcoin community on anything in the realm of medium of exchange is going to be pretty eye-rolling for most observers. Granted there are those in the Bitcoin community that ...

Bitcoin as a means of exchange from a nation-state perspective never made sense. What they are signaling is a willingness to make it the foundation of a new monetary system. That much is clear, and they have skin in the game. If it works, the U.S. gains an advantage by devaluing gold in favor of B...

I’m gonna read the article later. In the meantime, I think it’s a good practice for everyone to finish the sentence of the headline, and make headlines be complete sentences. “Donald Trump is not the bitcoin president”, he’s an unethical, sleazy criminal, who is constantly doing the w...
