You know the saying, C's get degrees. AIs are just as smart as your average college grad. They didn't invent super intelligence, just average intelligence.

But really I view AI as like having an ultra-capable mouth & the part of the brain, the set of neurons that control the performance & "muscle memory" of a mouth. It's impressive and brings greater utility, but really can only get you so far.
