I really dislike social media algorithms and incentives. Negative stuff is what sells.

There are so many times where I sit down with a good host and have a thoughtful discussion about macro finance, and then the Youtube title and thumbmail that their producer makes is some version of me smiling next to a terrible headline and often something on fire or blowing up.

The sad reality that algorithms on major social platforms serve the advertisers and other corporate interests rather than the end user. If nostr wants to differentiate itself even further as a place of freedom of expression, then any algorithms created ought to serve the user’s needs and be easily...
