@nprofile1q... sure, nationally, but in San Francisco it is no longer useful because we've let the *left* define it in incredibly insane ways, like defining being pro-car and anti-housing as progressive, and valuing performative intent over actual effectiveness in government.
Don't get me wrong, I like demonstrative protest, but also you have to at some point *actually achieve shit*, which essentially zero of SF's self-defined progressives have done in the 15 years I've lived here, while gay-as-hell, pro-transit, pro-housing, pro-psychedelic Scott keeps getting shit done.
