If you could snap your fingers and get rid of ONE tax, which would you choose and why? 1. Income tax 2. Property tax 3. Inheritance tax 4. Capital gains tax

Probably property tax. Capital gains is easily avoidable if you live a modest life. Income tax (USA Federal) can be mitigated. Games can be played with inheritance as well through proper estate planning. I feel property tax is the hardest to escape, and do not appreciate that it's practically treated as a form of unrealized capital gains tax.
