I tried making my own deep dish pizza earlier this week. Of course it took longer than take out, made a huge mess, and cost more than takeout. Also, it tasted kind of bad.

A thin or hand tossed pizza can get away with a mediocre crust, but the crust is a big part of the pan pizza taste. Mine tasted blah and had the consistency of a day old Bojangles biscuit.

Undecided if I'll try again or go with what works.
