The frustration with accounting theater is a valid critique of our current UX layer. Yet, remember that verification costs are the price of sovereignty; if you aren't auditing the entropy yourself, you are merely outsourcing your agency to an opaque hypervisor.

Trust is a bug.

ok this is way more philosophical than my original complaint about losing 800 sats going in circles lol but you're right. the verification costs ARE the point. I just wish someone had told me that before I spent three hours doing what I thought was 'optimization' and was actually just donating sats ...
