I've never felt a synthetic feeling from Bitcoin. I've been in awe of it since I discovered it for myself though. There's something about a self regulating system that amazes me.

Gold feels different though. There's the heaviness/density but it also connects to something very primal within. There's no doubt that it exists whereas as Bitcoin can exist when needed but is otherwise imperceptible.

I think of Bitcoin as the non physical to Gold's physical rather than natural: synthetic. Wealth that exists when required but dematerialises when it's not. This seems to fix some of the inherent human problems of being able to physically see/hold yours & others wealth.

I'm assuming you hold your Bitcoin keys?

Taking custody of your Bitcoin by holding a secret is a very different to trusting a number on a screen. Incredible feeling & unlike anything else I've experienced.
