I like the idea of contracts because no one expects the temps to be loyal. If the job isn't good, and the contractor leaves for a greener pasture, no hard feelings.
And if the job is good, it's usually temp to perm after some time.
Last week's interview was a 1-year contract. And if I had been offered the job, I probably would have kept looking, since the work environment was a bad fit.
