You may or may not need a VPN, look beyond the very heavy marketing to decide for yourself.
Remember, almost all traffic these days is TLS encrypted, so the "Your ISP is spying on you" narrative is mostly false (despite probably being technically true).
If you need to access regionally locked content or want a path back to your home LAN, great. But moving your "ISP is spying on you", to "your VPN provider is spying on you", just defers your trust layer, it doesn't obfuscate it.
