I'm just glad this happened as early as it did. Maybe people can finally learn what we should have learned when it happened to various signers and wallets of the past (like 3 years ago when the exact issue of 32 bit keyspace happened on libbitcoin-explorer).

And sure, NVK's a narcissist and deserves the crap he got for trashing seedsigner, and losing his mind over Foundation (seriously...he was threatened by that thing?).

But if you don't personally know you've generated a secure key, and you send bitcoin to it anyway, I don't see how you can call that someone else's responsibility. Maybe it was a threat that was off your radar, but YOU were the guard on duty.
