English is the universal language, we can say that. But in Brazil, this is somewhat analogous to capitalism in the sense that being bilingual is not common; it puts you outside the norm.

I’ve noticed a real lack of access to technology-related knowledge in the country. Few people know much about it, and those who do often keep that knowledge... in English.

I’m going to start posting more in Portuguese on the blog and here as well. To encourage interaction. To promote it. Maybe this is a chance to do something different.
