I’m already following your code of conduct, although I’ve just been ambivalent about the quality of Turnitin. You make a good point that it’s a for-profit business that’s exploitative because it’s built upon the labor of students.
The tricky thing is going to be with how you (and we) navigate this when students purposefully choose to break the student code of conduct (as some inevitably will).
