The single most important thing you can do to drastically improve you freedom, privacy and security, is to ditch your iPhone/OEM Android, and get a #GrapheneOS device.
Can confirm, that's what I have my SIM inside of (that being a Graphene device).
Eventually, I'll ditch my iPad for a Pixel Tablet (since that can use Graphene as well). I'll FINALLY be able to ditch iCloud once and for all if I do this right.
