The label Christian Nationalism doesn't do a good job of conveying the meaning.

The form of governance is less important, and every Christian Nationalism I've read envisions a total renovation (and extreme downsizing) of governance.

Nobody can force faith in Jesus Christ, which we know comes from God alone, so that won't and can't be the goal of a Christian nation.

Instead, a Christian nation's social code and laws should be of Christianity, encouraging good behavior and being a terror to evil. This wouldn't be alien to America which was a Christian Nationalist country from the gitgo.
