While I was driving I also thought about how this also applies to me, but in reverse, in the insecurities that plague my mind, "Am I as good as?... Surely I am not... I wish I could be like... I know I'm not worth..."
And how those insecurities arise from colonialism. And colonialism maybe being a violent expression of "comparison" in the sense that a group tries to subjugate another in order to prove how great they are.
It's a more complex thought that fits here perhaps.
