I have high hopes for Rivian. I want US-grown EVs, so I'm rooting for Rivan, Lucid and Slate.

I was initially excited by Rivian's e-bike spin-off, ALSO. But now I see they're going to be using the bike to roll out features tied to a monthly or yearly subscription. Hard no from me. I'm done paying subscriptions for anything I "buy".
