@nprofile1q... i think the closest i get to one-language-to-rule-them-all thinking is when i ask myself "how complicated will it be to get my project working again in 10 years / how hard will it be to port this project to game consoles and/or other esoteric platforms / how much of a nightmare is this going to be to get working on every contemporary linux distribution" when evaluating languages and libraries and stuff.
