I was going to say something about finding more diverse group of people to interview but then I realised this is 3 years old and it practically was only twitter users that had adopted nostr at the tim...

I really think we should be trying to onboard people from xiǎohóngshū, apart from the original Chinese users on there, everyone else is using as a less censored alternative to tiktok and Instagram.
They got a million American users that signed up when tiktok was banned for a day, a large chunk of them stayed, along with all the people around the world using it as a free speech platform.

It's funny, before all the people outside China joined, it was more of a feminine lifestyle app, most of the users were 18-25 year old Chinese women.
They welcomed the "tiktok refugees" and all the people being censored followed them to the platform.

It was a huge missed opportunity for nostr that tiktok ban, but Nostr had nothing good for viewing short form videos at the time.
It kinda does now, sorta.
