It works. The question is whether or not people should use it.

Some people have legitimate reasons to use it, namely diabetics who need to lose weight but have a very challenging time with that due to their needs.

For most, though, they just need good 'ole fashioned self-control. I know this personally, as I'm in the process of cutting weight now. Chemical aids should always be a last-ditch remedy, because what people really need are a change in lifestyle.

Carnivore diet helps like crazy. Didnt take long for me to be content with just eating a big ol slab of steak a day

I completely agree. As far as I know, the effects are often temporary if someone stops taking the medication and returns to their previous lifestyle. In many cases, people regain a significant amount of the weight they lost.
