Donald Trump revived the Republican Party by challenging the establishment & bringing unconventional ideas into the mainstream. But he failed at one of leadership’s greatest responsibilities: building the next generation of leaders. Instead, he demanded loyalty & attacked those who developed influence of their own. The Republican Party desperately needs credible, independent leadership willing to define conservatism beyond Trump and MAGA. A political movement built around one man isn’t a lasting philosophy. Today is proof that it was always a personality cult with an expiration date.
