What you said makes me think of Jungian psychoanalysis. In this case, I think the State would represent the collective unconscious. The collective possesses a fear of something, say an external conquering force. That collective fear (or ego, lower consciousness, etc.) manifests as the State. Because the State is born of fear, it does not have eternal life, so it destroys and ultimately self-destructs.
With new tools like Bitcoin, plus what seems to be an awakening in consciousness, I’m of the belief that we are entering an era of abundance and philosopher kings - the Age of Aquarius. Bullish! Haha
