Overall your wordings were wrong, "killed Philosophy". He was basically improving guy throughout his life. And majorly his ideas didnt influenced people to drop out Philosophy, history tells more than anyone's personal reading comprehension. Be it marxism or liberalism or theology, what history tells about by real events cant be overrid by Theoretical comprehension. And based on real events, after ghazali, Philosophy remained progressing upwards in sufi, falasifa and mutakallimin (trads: ashari maturidis) every circle. So my or your or anyone's comprehension of ghazali's literature and conclusion that it affected negatively, doesnt hold any weight and contradicts real history.

Agreed, should have started out with something less critical lol or gone after Ibn Taymiyyah instead ☠️
