Yes, the energy here is totally different. Genuine connections and support (in most of cases ; nothing is perfect ofc 🙃). I know you have a loooot to digest already, so take your time, but a few things to think about, sth that may help your journey: a). Nostr is way more than social media, I can pass you some stuff to read if you want, b). since you're such a talented musician, I'd be great if you join the v4v music ecosystem as well - nostr is just a tiny part of it. What I'd suggest as the next step is adding a few (even just 2-3) of your songs to the podcasting index (1st self host the mp3 or wav on your website/server or maybe proton drive or NostrBuilt + use for example @MSP 2.0 to add it to the global library). It will allow all compatible apps to play it. Meaning - more people will discover your work and they can boost it/send you SATs.
