Soo.. I'm kinda wondering.. are there people who when they are programming aren't thinking in code? Like come up with whatever you want to do in human language and than translate this into code later...

@nprofile1q... tbh it's my favorite part of software development, that you can look at all the data structures, functions and classes, and have them all in your head as a complex theoretical system, and know how to modify it without necessarily thinking in words. it feels like a different way of thinking than you use for most other spheres of life. and when you have a bunch of these pieces, and it becomes a lot, so you write an abstraction and pack it all away into a small module, instantly reducing the amount of context you need to keep in your head, it's so satisfying.
