Also check the new code to make sure it also is following good coding practice and is reasonably effective and efficient. Let me know what you find, the severity & implications, your recommendations to correct any issues, and how large the scope of the fix would be. Don't fix anything until I approve your recommendations or indicate an alternative approach.
